I have searched but still need help JI barrage
I am trying to figure out a good build for a Judges insight barrage ranger.
I normally played barrage/pet whenever I used barrage, but will probably try to use this build for fow or other general pve with undead.
I have heard most use 16 marks, 8+1 expertise and then the rest smiting. Is that good? Is there any better breakpoints for expertise?
Also for skills, so far I have.
Barrage, Savage Shot, Distracting Shot, Judges Insight, Favorable winds and Rebirth. What should I do for the other 2 slots? Damage attack skills?
Also I am guessing for the bow ideas, a zealous flatbow of enchanting would be the best. If not any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and information.

Yeah 12+1+3 marks, 8+1 exp and 10 smiting is good (and with such a build you can bring smite hex in FoW or ToPK). You even have a few point left for WS and get if needed a 4 or 5 arrows troll.
For the skills, if you go in a B/P team, I'd use:
Barrage
Savage/distracting (1 interupt is fair enough)
JI
Smite Hex or spirit
Charm
Confort
WD or troll or throw dirt
Rez (rebirth, rez chant, or even vengeance)
Now 10 people are going to post 10 different JI barrage builds after me, just as good.

Err there is NO WAY to run both tiger fury and JI at the same time, energy wise, especially with 0 point in BM and 9 expertise...

Tiger's Fury is USELESS in barrage groups, since, all you want to be and should be doing is spamming barrage. TF and similar attack speed buffs wont make your barrage go any faster, since youre limited by barrage cast and recharge times, as well as the bow's refire rate. The fastest barrage bow is the flatbow - there was a thread that detailed this, but i cannot remember the link.
Sir Mad's build is all you will need for a JI barrager, my only adjustment would be to load up both interrupts (distracting AND savage) and drop smite hex. [because i like to interrupt .]
the 8th slot is a WD/TD/WW/FW slot that only differs between party members according to their role in the group.

The best advice I can give you on a JI Barrage build is simply not to run one. JI cost 10 energy, is not affected by expertise, and lasts only 18 seconds even at 12 Smiting. If somehow you could get a tank that can hold almost all aggro by themself and a team that is smart enough not to take that aggro away from him, then you could put Essence Bond on him and possibly have sufficient energy, but for normal purposes, there is just no way you can afford to keep JI up for all your barrages.
If you are looking to maximize your damage from Barrage, take Favorable Winds, a vamp +15%^50 flatbow and keep your marks at 16 with high expertise so you never miss a barrage from insufficient energy.

I recently spent quite a bit of time with JI, both with builds anchored on Barrage and Punishing Shot and I have to concur with XvArchonvX, it rarely is worth the cost except in rare situations.

I'm hoping that Prepared Shot can make use of the 'normally too expensive to be worth it' buffs. It might make things like Ritualist weaponspells, JI, etc, somewhat viable. One of the first things I'm going to be field testing once Nightfall is released.

Well JI is really worth the cost in FoW against skellies (100 damage on a bone dragon, 150 on impallers). Now the question is: is it worth the slot? But yeah I had fun in FoW with it
Tuor, ASP skills work with barrage: just try frenzy and enjoy
